Modern trends in the formation of student dormitory architecture in the context of sustainable urban development
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of foreign experience of designing modern student dormitories in aspects of creating a self-sufficient environment and functionally convenient space that promotes learning and social interaction of students. The analysis of design solutions allowed to identify modern trends and establish the principles of design of student dormitories for higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, such as: comfort of the internal environment; multifunctionality, providing self-sufficient space; inclusiveness, expressed in the creation of an accessible environment for students with disabilities; technological integration, designed to improve the efficiency of learning and information exchange; architectural expressiveness with the interpretation of elements of the design of student dormitories for higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The identified trends and designated principles of student dormitories design will contribute to the creation of a comfortable, socially oriented and sustainable environment that can meet the needs of young people and promote their self-development.
