This article considers the issue of theoretical assessment of the sound level of urban traffic flows. In urban environments, especially on main streets near multi-storey residential buildings, the sound level of traffic flows (noise level heard by humans in dB(A) values) is one of the most harmful factors that negatively affect human health. The physical parameters and characteristics of traffic noise were determined based on the quasi-cylindrical sound wave model and were evaluated sanitary-hygienic.
