This article examines the role of micromobility solutions, such as e-scooters and e-bicycles, in improving
the accessibility of public transport. These eco-friendly and compact vehicles are becoming increasingly
popular and are already being used in many cities, including those in Uzbekistan. In the context of rapid
urban development and uneven coverage of public transport, the “first and last mile” problem remains
highly relevant, as residents often face difficulties accessing transport stops. The integration of
micromobility can make trips more convenient and accessible, especially in remote or poorly served
areas. The development of micromobility in Uzbekistan contributes not only to improved transport
accessibility but also to reducing traffic congestion, improving the environmental situation, and
supporting the principles of sustainable urban development.
