The article presents the concept of creating an Automated National Information System for Operational Management of Freight Transportation (ANISOMFT). Existing issues of the current system (ASOMT) are analyzed, including insufficient data accuracy, reliance on human factors, and limited integration capabilities. The proposed solutions involve the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, low-power wide-area networks (LPWAN), big data analysis, and enhanced cybersecurity. Functional models of the transportation process and algorithms for automated data processing are examined. ANISOMFT aims to improve management accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance the quality of logistics services
