Abstract

This article provides a scientific analysis of the role and significance of basalt and steel fibers in modern construction materials, particularly in fiber-reinforced concrete, and their impact on the physical and mechanical properties of concrete. The study highlights the advantages of concrete reinforced with various types of fibers, emphasizing their role in improving indicators such as strength, elasticity, and crack resistance. Notably, the article emphasizes that basalt fibers stand out for their environmental safety, high thermal stability, and resistance to chemical effects and corrosion. The paper presents detailed information on the thermal properties of fiber-reinforced concrete, its energy efficiency, and the prospects for its application in road construction, industrial projects, hydraulic engineering, and civil construction. The findings demonstrate that basalt and steel fibers play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of construction materials.
