Abstract

This paper analyzes the development and mathematical algorithms of an automated device that enables rapid emergency notification in the event of road traffic accidents. The device detects incidents based on accelerometer, GPS, and GSM/GPRS modules and sends signals to ambulance or emergency services in real time. The block diagram of the device, mathematical models, and experimental results are presented, and its effectiveness in improving road traffic safety is evaluated.
