As the city of Tashkent continues to develop and transform into a major metropolis, traffic congestion is increasing, leading to a growing demand for an efficient public transportation system. This situation highlights the necessity of improving urban transport infrastructure and optimizing passenger mobility. This article analyzes the experience of developed countries in planning, managing, and enhancing the efficiency of public transportation. Specifically, it examines successful practices in developing transport infrastructure, managing passenger flows, implementing environmentally friendly transport solutions, and integrating modern digital technologies to improve passenger services. Furthermore, the study explores the possibilities of adapting and implementing international best practices in the context of our country. The article discusses prospects for improving the efficiency of the transport system, enhancing passenger convenience, and reducing environmental impact by utilizing global expertise. The findings of this research could contribute to the development of a sustainable and effective public transport system in Uzbekistan's urban areas in the future.
