The main objective of this study is to investigate the operations of technical service points at railway marshalling stations. This article analyzes how technical maintenance of wagons contributes to ensuring safety conditions during transportation. Additionally, it considers the variation in inspection time depending on the type of train. The increasing volume of freight transportation necessitates a rise in the number of personnel responsible for conducting technical and commercial inspections of wagons at railway stations. Therefore, accurately determining the number of inspection teams at the stations is of great importance. By identifying the required number of personnel, it becomes possible to manage wagon flows more efficiently and increase labor productivity. Effective organization of this process contributes to improving the safety of transport vehicles and reducing operational costs. Optimizing the number of employees not only enhances work efficiency but also helps accelerate transportation processes.
