Abstract

In this article, the effectiveness of regional investment activity was statistically analyzed using the example of Kashkadarya region. The study examined the volume of investments in fixed capital and the growth of Gross Regional Product (GRP) based on time series, index methods, and correlation-regression analysis. The results revealed that both the scale and structure of investments significantly influence regional economic growth. Furthermore, an analysis of investment efficiency across regional sectors indicated that funds allocated to agriculture, industry, and services play a crucial role in economic performance. At the same time, the uneven distribution of investments across the region was shown to contribute to weak development in certain economic areas.
Based on the findings, the study emphasizes the necessity of supporting innovative projects, attracting more foreign investment, modernizing infrastructure, and increasing funds directed towards human capital in order to enhance the effectiveness of investment activity. The results of the article can serve as a scientific and practical basis for accelerating regional economic development.
