Abstract

This article examines the influence of sulfur on the properties of 20GL grade steel. The desulfurization process was studied under real production conditions, investigating the relationship between the sulfur content in the metal and the duration of its retention under slag. Additionally, the microstructure of 20GL grade steel after the desulfurization process was analyzed.
