This article analyzes the results of research into malfunctions in the lubrication system of piston compressor equipment, develops technical solutions to improve the efficiency of the lubrication system, and presents the results of their experimental testing. Along with electricity, pneumatic energy, that is, compressed air energy, is widely used in industrial enterprises. In the technological processes of mineral extraction, compressed air performs the function of an energy carrier, significantly affecting the operational performance of mining machines and other pneumatic energy consumers. A large contribution to the operational efficiency of compressors depends on the operation of their lubrication system, and improving their operational performance significantly reduces the cost of compressed air production.
