This article is dedicated to studying the designs and operational characteristics of drum machines used for grinding leather semi-finished products. Extensive scientific research is being conducted worldwide to improve the technologies for initial processing of products and to develop their scientific foundations. In this field, increasing the efficiency of grinding drum machines and ensuring their operational reliability in processing leather semi-finished products is particularly important. Furthermore, a rational justification of the geometric, kinematic, and control parameters of the grinding drum machine contributes to enhancing its economic efficiency and ensuring its longevity.
