This article explores the scientific foundations and technological principles of milling technologies applied in pavement rehabilitation processes. The study analyzes the role of milling machines in eliminating pavement defects, improving surface evenness, and extending service life. The structural features of milling cutters, automatic control systems, and cutting parameters influencing performance are discussed in detail. Based on the EO-2621 milling machine model, productivity calculations and optimization criteria are presented. The results demonstrate that modern milling technologies significantly improve road surface quality, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of road infrastructure systems.
